License Agreement

Overview

GritFlow is commercial software with different licensing tiers depending on your use case. This page summarizes our licensing model.

Free Tier License

The GritFlow Free tier is licensed for:

• Personal, non-commercial use
• Educational and learning purposes
• Evaluation before purchasing
• Open-source project development

Free tier users may not use GritFlow for commercial purposes, including work performed for an employer or clients.

Pro License

The GritFlow Pro subscription grants:

• Single-user commercial use license
• Use for business, freelance, and employment
• Access to all Pro features
• Standard support channels

Pro licenses are per-seat. Each user needs their own subscription.

Team License

The GritFlow Team subscription grants:

• Multi-user commercial use license (minimum 3 users)
• Shared context buckets and workspaces
• Team administration features
• Priority support

Team licenses are managed by an organization admin who can add and remove users.

Enterprise License

Enterprise customers receive custom licensing that may include:

• Unlimited users within the organization
• On-premise deployment options
• Custom integrations and SLAs
• Dedicated support
• Custom terms and conditions

Open Source Components

GritFlow uses various open-source components. These components retain their original licenses:

• Next.js - MIT License
• React - MIT License
• TypeScript - Apache 2.0 License
• Tailwind CSS - MIT License
• And others (see package.json for full list)

Restrictions

All GritFlow licenses prohibit:

• Reverse engineering or decompiling the software
• Removing or altering proprietary notices
• Sublicensing or reselling without authorization
• Using GritFlow branding without permission
• Creating competing products based on GritFlow

Your Content

You retain full ownership and rights to all content you create using GritFlow, including but not limited to: context buckets, documents, prompts, code generated with GritFlow's assistance, and any other intellectual property. GritFlow makes no claim to your content.

Termination

Your license terminates automatically if you fail to comply with these terms. Upon termination, you must cease using GritFlow and destroy any copies. Termination does not affect your ownership of content you created.
